"...over 20 years of quality service."
Christian Home Health Care (CHHC) was founded in 1989 on the West Bank by Emily White. Ms. White used the administrative skills she acquired at West Jefferson Hospital to provide patients with hospital quality care in the privacy of their home. In 1999, as a result of illness and financial difficulty, Ms. White filed Chapter 11. The company was acquired by Davis Enterprises and has been operated by Elaine Davis since.
Over the past ten years, Christian Home Health Care has undergone many changes. The company moved its headquarters from the west bank to historic Jackson Avenue in uptown New Orleans. Like many New Orleanians, CHHC has dealt with the challenges of living in a post-Hurricane Katrina world. CHHC was one of the first home health care agencies to reopen after the storm waters receded. As a result, the company has experienced tremendous growth since 2006.
What has not changed over the past ten years is the dedication of the Christian Home Health Care staff to provide its patients with the best possible care. CHHC provides a full range of health care services to patients within a 50-mile radius.
Christian Home Health Care recently celebrated its 20 year anniversary. CHHC is looking forward to another 20 years of service and growth, which is why it continues to seek out effective, creative strategies to spread the word. At the same time, The CHHC family would like to thank Ms. Emily White, who passed away in 2003 for her vision to get CHHC off the ground.
